IMPACT Development Fund Report 2009

1. The 2008 Report recorded expenditure of €580,790 – the highest ever level of donations from the IMPACT fund. There was a carryover of over €25,000 from the 2008 accounts and the budget for 2009 amounted to almost €490,000. By the end of the year it was estimated that this would be exceeded by over €40,000.

Unions say Government has turned its back on public service transformation

The ICTU Public Services Committee accused the Government of turning its back on a deal that would have delivered a massive transformation in the delivery of public services, met the Government’s required reductions in 2010 payroll costs, and avoided a second public service pay cut in less than a year.
